W.H. Porter Consultants provides a number of professional land surveying services which include ALTA, topography, right-of-way, construction layout, tree, hydrographic and all types of land boundary surveys, to developers, builders, mortgage lenders and government agencies.

• Staff – Our permanent staff of over 15 employees, which includes two Registered Professional Land Surveyors, highly competent field personnel, and office technicians who perform computation and mapping tasks, including geospacial infomatics.

• Equipment –Our equipment is being continuously updated and expanded to offer our clients the benefit of rapidly advancing technology such as the Global Positioning System. Our survey crews are outfitted with a full compliment of conventional surveying equipment as well as GPS equipment capable of sub-centimeter accuracies.

• Software –We utilize the latest versions of Terramodel and Micro-Station software to perform our surveying computations and Digital Terrain Modeling (DTM) creation. Because we use the latest in survey equipment and software, our staff can collect and download the survey data in several different formats in order to meet the needs of our clients.

• Hydrosurvey –Our hydrographic survey equipment combines the use of GPS with real time sonar data to accurately model the bottoms of ponds, lakes and rivers.
